Limited Warranty

Built outdoors. Backed in writing.

Every BON Pergola is engineered for decades of use — sturdy aluminum frames, weather-sealed motors, and powder-coated finishes tested against sun, storm, and time. Our limited warranty puts that promise in print.

Common Questions

Warranty FAQ

When does my warranty start?

Your coverage begins on the original invoice date — no registration is required for original purchasers, but we recommend keeping your invoice and order confirmation accessible.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?

The limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only and does not transfer with property sale. If you're a new owner, our team can still provide service and replacement parts at standard rates.

Does the warranty cover commercial installations?

Standard coverage applies to residential use. Commercial warranties are available and may differ in duration. Contact our team before purchase for written commercial terms.

What about storms, hail, or hurricanes?

Acts of nature are excluded from the limited warranty. Our Weatherproof Pergola is engineered to demanding wind and snow load specifications, but no outdoor structure is fully storm-proof. Check your homeowners insurance for storm-related coverage.

Will you cover labor costs for replacement?

No. Approved claims include replacement parts shipped to the original delivery region. Disassembly, reinstallation, and service-call labor are the owner's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Does running the pergola at the wrong voltage void coverage?

Yes. Damage caused by incorrect electrical voltage, improper wiring, or non-compliant power sources voids the electrical portion of the warranty. Always confirm your home circuit matches your unit's specifications.

What maintenance keeps my warranty valid?

Periodic cleaning of louvers and rails, clearing debris from drains and tracks, lubricating moving parts as outlined in the owner's manual, and seasonal inspection. Keep a simple log — it helps if a claim ever needs evaluation.
