    So Worth it......

    I shopped for a 20' x 15' Weatherproof Pergola with mechanized screens for over year. I have accordion patio doors and a great Bay view and did not want a center support column. In addition I have read and heard horror stories about poor quality and poor service. So when I found Bon they checked all the boxes. But I want to meet the people and see the product before I buy so we drove down to Orange County from the Bay Area first. You can ask Jeff yourself about their mnfg process and facility in China and he fill you in with all his products strengths and differences. I was really impressed and we ordered the next week. I think about 2 months later the pergola arrived. Our contractor took 2 or 3 days to install (we had to add extra under deck structural support) and the electrician took a day to wire up the lighting and shades. We absolutely are totally satisfied with our Pergola and regret we did not get it sooner! My take aways are:

    1 . After a months of rain I can attest that this Pergola is Weatherproof. The only rain that gets in is when the shades are not lowered or the wind blows a little bit in at the gutters.

    2. Not having center posts has a huge positive visual impact

    3. This Pergola made of cast aluminum is strong!

    4. We have had some 40mph wind gusts and no issues. When winds are super strong we do open the shades as a precaution. But normal winds don't affect the shades at all

    Very disappointed with this company and the terrible customer service. Was given incorrect information regarding when pergola was being delivered and then pieces were missing and holes didn’t line up to screw things in properly and Jeff told me to tell my contractor to drill new holes and “ employees make mistakes and we need to educate them properly “. I paid in full months ago over 15,000 and expected everything to arrive with the correct parts

    The conversation left on Oct, and we are not sure why your contractor didn't contact us as we are trying to help further plus paying for the extra fees that you need to work out the problems. And we believe the pergola is 100% function and working. How is the pergola going?
